Entre águilas y halcones. Relaciones y representaciones del poder en los Andes Centro Sur

Este trabajo intenta explorar a partir de la figura y el nombre de Viltipoco, uno de los líderes de la resistencia antiespañola en la Quebrada de Humahuaca (Provincia de Jujuy, Argentina), ciertos aspectos relacionados con las alianzas políticas, los vínculos, las representaciones del poder y los liderazgos multiétnicos entre algunas de las sociedades que ocupaban los Andes Centro Sur en el siglo XVI.
ABSTRACT
This work tries to analize from the character and name of Viltipoco, one of the antispanish resistence leaders in the Quebrada de Humahuaca (Jujuy, Argentine), some aspects related with politica alliances, ties, powers representations and multiethnic leadership among some of the societies wich lived in the Centre-South Andeans in the XVI Century.
